lazybones

lazybones was established in 2000 by Tracey Hocking in Sydney, Australia.

In 2001 Tracey moved the business to Byron Bay, Australia, an idyllic beach side town on the edge of a lush sub tropical hinterland.

lazybones has grown from designing and making sleepwear only;   to designing, manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing sleepwear, clothing and bedding and stocking more than 200 stores worldwide in that time.

We now have several different ranges available:  vintage (frocks, frocks and more frocks), TOO (relaxed day wear),relax (light, comfortable vintage inspired garments for sleeping and lounging), undressed (full and half slips), HOME (soft, lazy quilts, pillows, cushions and throws) and littlies (beautiful dresses and sleepwear for little girls)

lazybones endeavours where possible, to use natural fibres and processes that are kind to Mother Earth. Where possible we source organic, eco or surplus fabrics.

lazybones is designed exclusively in Australia and mostly manufactured in Bali, Indonesia, however we also manufacture some items in Australia and China

We are very concerned about working ethically and fairly with our large team of workers in Bali. As we have grown we have ensured the financial growth of the people who work with us. We still work with many of the same people we started the factory with more than eleven years ago.

Two years ago, we moved into our fantastic purpose built head office & warehouse in the middle of the countryside.   We look out of our office windows over gorgeous green paddocks all the way to the Nightcap Ranges.
